This event takes place on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June. I'll be attending on the Saturday but anyone should feel free to still go along on the Friday as this is an open event rather than just a meetup.

MEETING UP ON THE NIGHT

I am planning to go to the movie ''The Age of Stupid'' on Saturday at 17:00 -19:15.
Anyone who wants to join for this movie please meet me in the lobby at 16:30.

If this is too early for you I am also planning on going to the movie ''Addicted to Plastic'' at 19:30 - 21:45.
If you want to join for this one please meet me in the lobby at 19:15.

After that we'll have a drink and chat in the lobby.

My phone will be switched off when watching the movies so I'll have a small Irish flag with me so you can spot me easily.

I hope to see both some new and familiar faces there!

Greenchoice and Strawberry Earth present the first Dutch Environmental Film Festival!

On 5 and 6 June 2009, Strawberry Earth is organising the very first Dutch Environmental Film Festival!

We’ve asked our favourite cinemas in Amsterdam how much of their revenue from two nights they would invest in eco-friendly upgrades to their own cinema. The cinema with the highest bid, wins our film festival. It was a close call but the winner is Het Ketelhuis cinema.

Three cinema venues were willing to invest 100% of their revenue. But, Het Ketelhuis went crazy, besides bidding 100%, they also agreed to give away the savings they make on energy bills for the next 10 years to an environmental charity! We were blown away.
